Site Report View

TopStyle's Site Report View is a great way to find out what pages in your site are - and are not - linked to style sheets. Report view is broken into three lists:

• Style Sheets - shows all style sheets in your site.
• HTML documents - shows HTML, CFML, ASP and other browsable web documents in your site. The files that appear in this list depend on the current filter (see below).
• Linked style sheets - shows all style sheets linked to the document currently selected in the web document list.

The files that appear in the list of web documents depend on the current filter, which is chosen from the dropdown above the list. The following filters are available:

• All HTML documents - displays all web documents in the site
• All documents with style links - only documents with a <link> to a style sheet are displayed.
• All documents without style links - only documents that contain no style sheet <link> are shown.
• All documents with broken style links - displays documents with links to missing style sheets.
• All documents with style blocks - only documents with <style>..</style> blocks (embedded styles) are listed.
• All documents linked to selected style sheet - when this filter is selected, clicking on a style sheet in the style sheet list on the left will populate the HTML document list with files that are linked to that style sheet.

Report view also provides powerful drag-and-drop style sheet linking. To link a style sheet to the selected HTML document, simply drag-and-drop from the style sheet list on the left to the linked style sheet list below the HTML document list (note that this is disabled when filtering by "all documents linked to selected style sheet"). You can also remove existing links by either dragging CSS documents out of the linked style sheet list, or by right-clicking a CSS document in the linked style sheet list and choosing "Remove Link" from the context menu.

Note: By default, TopStyle will confirm every drag-and-drop linking operation. To turn confirmations off, go to the General page in TopStyle's options.
